Which "something" won yesterday?
Banana Bread. Delicious.
And all is well.
This bread has kind of a crisp crust and it is very moist--unless it gets overcooked...

Kim!!! I can't even tell you how much I love banana bread. It and lemon bars are my 'go-to's for when I feel like baking something really sweet. mmmmmm...
wonder of wonder
miracles of miracles
I also baked banana bread yesterday... for some reason yours looks better. I think I ate an entire 1/2 loaf by myself. I might need to make some more for the rest of the hooligans.
You've been quite the busy little poster over the holidays! I don't know if I'll be able to catch up with it all! I do have to tell you thought that I've never read the book you are reading, but Vic's family thinks it is so great & his brother just named his newest arrival Ender after it! I didn't like it at first cuz I still haven't read the book, but it has caught on & I feel like it sounds like a cool football name or something :)
Yum. Chocolate chips in banana bread. I can't believe I never thought of trying that before!
We just did plant and animal cells this week too...
