Fashion Handicapp
Rustin has laid down an ultimateum: buy a new coat or he will buy one for me. Rustin buying me clothes means a trip to the mall where I will be forced to look at my post-baby (can we just say softly maternal?) figure in a three-way-mirror. I can barely stand the thought... So I am taking matters into my own hands.
I was inspired by this girl...
so I looked up some coats on-line.
Overstock.com had some good suggestions that are far less than Kate's $1000 Burberry trench. Did you know after Kate wore this coat in Ireland Burberry sold out of it in one day? How's that for advertisement?!
Are they cute? I can not have a wool coat. Wool and Golden retrievers are not friends. Cotton blend is the way to go.
Double or single?
The double has a hood. My curls don't like to get wet so that might be good but is a double breasted coat formal looking? I'm not really formal. I like the flared fit of the single. hmmm.
Someone give me a second opinion before my husband drags me to the mall.

That is a cute coat, but it seems an odd choice for Twin Falls. Plus, I don't think that coat will look as good on our lovely body types as it does on those unrealistically skinny super models. Look at Cabellas, I really like their coat selection, and they seem more practical for everyday than a trench.
kim! I love those coats, I vote for double breasted with hood. I however am with your sister. I've tired several of these on (because they are super cute!) and have not been impressed with my silhouette. So ordering online without trying on is risky. Try the mall... you can do it! Or come down to Logan, I'm dying to have a sister to shop with!
I like the look of the double breasted coat! But I think the single is more flattering. Man! I can't wait for the day when I get to hear the words that I need to go shopping so bad! Of course, that would mean it's been a while...
I like the lighter colored one. I'm guessing that is double-breasted? I am a little fashion-challenged.
I think the single is cute. It is too hard to button up a double. I know because I tried, and if you ever want to just leave it open, it looks really dumb. But the double is definitely cute if you plan on buttoning it all the time.
Just go to the Mall. It will be fun, and motivating. :-)
Softly Maternal. That's awesome.
